Columbia Heights Pharmacy is looking for a licensed PRN Pharmacist to join our team on an as-needed basis. We’re a community pharmacy that takes pride in the quality of care we provide our patients, and we’re looking for someone who shares that commitment and wants to be part of what we’re building here. This is a role with real responsibility — you’ll be a key part of daily operations whenever you’re on shift — and we’d love for the right pharmacist to become part of the Columbia Heights family.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations during your shift, including dispensing and reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, and potential side effects
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Collaborate with prescribers and clinic staff to support quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation for prescriptions, billing, and controlled substance records
• Support pharmacy initiatives such as immunizations and medication therapy management (MTM)
• Help maintain proper inventory control and minimize waste from expired medications

What You Bring

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited program
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing
• Successful completion of the NAPLEX
• 1–3 years of experience in a retail or ambulatory pharmacy setting
• Immunization and CPR certification; MTM certification
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting directly with patients and clinic staff
• A detail-oriented, organized approach and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
