Job description:

Vici Health Sciences is a Pharmaceutical R&D company focused on developing products to serve unmet patient and doctor needs. We develop innovative formulations, analytical test methods and manufacturing processes for oral, sterile injectable and ophthalmic dosage forms. As a growing company, work is fast-paced, challenging, and exciting. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field and at least 6-months experience in industry or research experience in academic labs.

Working under more senior scientists, the selected candidate would:

– Be trained under various formulation techniques to manufacture pharmaceutical tablets, capsules, injections, and ophthalmic products.

– Once trained, independently manufacture small-scale R&D formulations per written protocols.

– Author batch manufacturing protocols and records.

– Tabulate or plot test data, help interpret data, and design subsequent experiments with senior scientists.

– Maintain all data associated with projects including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

– Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.

– Care for and maintain multiple formulation development related equipment such as tablet presses, tablet coaters, blenders, granulators, fluid bed coaters, and isolators.

– Participate in the overall maintenance and enhancement of company systems.
