Responsibilities:

• Data entry, benefits verification, prior authorizations, and insurance billing
• Medication and supply preparation
• Sterile compounding
• Maintaining an organized work area
• Patient/Caregiver interactions, by phone and in person
• Communication with physician staff in a friendly and efficient manner
• Inventory ordering and management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy technician certification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
• Previous experience working in a pharmacy or clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with IV medication preparation (<USP 797>) preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $46,800.00 – $54,080.00 per year
