KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
Repair and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural issues, ensuring that they are resolved efficiently.
Work Orders
- Execute maintenance tasks based on work orders, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns promptly.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations or repairs needed.
Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance and repair tasks.
Facility Maintenance
- Assist with general facility maintenance, including painting, carpentry, and other tasks as needed to maintain a safe and functional workspace.
Reporting
- Report major maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or the Maintenance Manager for further assessment and resolution.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members, contractors, and vendors as needed to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in machine maintenance, repair, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, equipment, and systems.
- Technical proficiency in areas such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems, depending on the specific job requirements.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Pay:
Commensurate with experience
