Vital Care of Hagerstown is a rapidly growing home infusion pharmacy located in Hagerstown, MD. We are looking for a 1099 or part-time infusion nurse. Candidates must be a Maryland licensed RN. Candidate must be proficient with IV access (peripheral, port, etc.) and familiar with IV therapies, including infliximab, Immune globulin and other biologic therapies. Medications are typically administered in the patient’s home and will require the RN to travel. Scheduling is flexible, but must meet patient availability. Responsibilities include: IV access, administration of IV and other injectable or infused medications, catheter care, patient teaching, and monitoring patient’s vital signs before, during, and after therapy. As a Home Infusion Nurse, you will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care in a home setting, while making the experience pleasant for the patient and family. Part-time and 1099 positions do not include benefits. All positions include competitive pay and flexible scheduling.
