Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Representative to drive sales of our solid-state chemistry solutions. This role plays a key part in shaping our solid-state chemistry offerings, supporting team success, and contributing to XtalPi’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual sales targets
  • Proactively prospect and qualify leads through outreach, industry events, and client meetings
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations aligned with client scientific goals
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing, clearly articulating the value of our services
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular engagement

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Strong soft skills, including resilience, execution capability, proactive attitude, and self-motivation
  • Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred; solid-state chemistry experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts
  • Willingness to travel across the US/Canada, Europe, and APAC

  • United States (California preferred)
  • Hybrid or fully remote, with travel to conferences, client sites, and company offices.
