Brand Ambassador, Eastern Shore – Cannabis Industry (Pop-Up & Event Specialist)

We believe in building strong relationships with our dispensary partners, consumers, and community through consistent education, representation, and hands-on experience with our products.
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Brand Ambassador to represent our brands at EASTERN SHORE dispensary pop-ups, events, and in the field. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and excited to grow within the cannabis space.
Key Responsibilities:
Event & Pop-Up Execution:
- Represent Alchemist Ventures and our house brands at dispensary pop-ups, events, and store visits (Wednesdays–Saturdays).
- Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled events for setup; stay until the committed timeframe ends for proper breakdown.
- Engage with customers to promote current deals and ensure they leave with product knowledge and interest.
- Maintain a professional appearance—team shirts required, no competing branding on clothing.
- Limit phone use to content creation, event coverage, and business communication only.
Customer Engagement & Sales Support:
- Make meaningful connections with dispensary purchasers and staff.
- Share post-event reports with the sales team including:
- Approximate customer engagement numbers
- Product specials being promoted
- Feedback from staff and patients
- Encourage budtenders to complete product trainings and sample programs.
- Capture photos/videos for use by our marketing team and social platforms.
- Assist in pre-event outreach and post-event follow-ups for restock orders.
Communication & Scheduling:
- Support weekly Tuesday admin work including:
- Posting the weekly pop-up schedule to Instagram
- Reaching out to dispensaries ahead of scheduled pop-ups (2 weeks, 1 week, and 1 day before)
- Confirming event details, promotions, setup space, and custom flyers
- Keep the engagement tracker updated with event recaps and communication notes.
Inventory & Swag Management:
- Conduct weekly counts of swag, displays, and paper assets.
- Notify Sales Manager when items are running low and need restocking.
- Ensure every swag giveaway has intention—maximize impact and stay within quarterly allocations.
Training & Product Knowledge:
- Review internal resources such as:
- Monday’s “Notes from the Lab” memo
- Tuesday’s “All Hands” sales/production deck
- Monthly “Alchemist Budtender” training
- Maintain a deep understanding of Alchemist Ventures product offerings.
Additional Tasks:
- Participate in occasional lab visits and training sessions.
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the State Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland
- Prior experience in cannabis, event marketing, or brand ambassadorship preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to travel across the state.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for extended periods during events.
- Availability Tuesday–Saturday is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
