Job Summary
The Associate Director of Consumer Marketing is responsible for leading the planning and execution of all consumer marketing for ZURZUVAE, the first and only oral product approved for postpartum depression. Individuals in this role will evaluate market conditions, identify issues and opportunities, develop strategies, messaging, patient and care partner initiatives, campaigns, and support across multiple channels and touchpoints.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Direct to Patient strategy, messaging, materials and digital assets ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Drives strategic innovation and execution of all disease state activities to continue to educate consumers on postpartum depression.
  • Lead all Consumer initiatives and monitor the measurement and optimization of direct to patient campaigns across channels in partnership with the Digital Marketing Team.
  • Oversee the patient ambassador program, helping to grow and evolve the program and work cross-functionally to implement.
  • Manage multiple Consumer-facing agency partner(s) and other outsourced vendors including media, creative and budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with the extended team to gain and leverage a deep understanding of the patient journey and relevant caregiver and patient insights.
  • Work with co-promote partners to ensure alignment on all Consumer activities.
  • Actively contributes to the development of the annual brand business plan and budget.
  • Other responsibilities and projects assigned.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years relevant marketing experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Previous experience launching Direct to Patient campaigns and developing support materials a plus.
  • Experience in mental health disorders preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with and directing agencies, strategic vendors, and managing budgets.
  • Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well across a matrix organization with strong collaboration skills to support the co-promote efforts.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional departments to support strategic direction and alignment.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements

  • Travel Requirements: up to 15-20% Travel.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting most of the time.
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Compensation
At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $155,000 to $180,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual’s salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

Base salary is one part of the overall compensation package, which includes the opportunity to participate in employee stock purchase programs and performance-based bonus programs.
