Assembly Technicians are responsible for the quality of equipment performance and deployment. This role involves performing automated and manual tests to ensure the equipment designed by engineers, manufactured by the contract manufacturer, or built/refurbished by internal production, is fit for purpose.

Essential functions:

· Fully test equipment to ensure it functions properly and meets business needs

· Test functional performance of the system, subassemblies, and parts, coupled with thorough hardware and software evaluation

· Use professional judgment to help mitigate risk and prevent issues/failures in the field

· Maintain processes, follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to become familiar with the equipment

· Repetitive/routine testing, and overall upkeep of the lab environment

· Detailed data entry of testing results

· Work to improve skills which will facilitate the rapid identification of issues, on-the-spot troubleshooting, and the ability to make adjustments/improvements as needed.

· Take on additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Associates Degree or equivalent work experience

· Highly motivated self-starter, willing to embrace the unique nature of our business

· Prior mechanical experience a plus

· Quick learner of technical and software related products

· Must enjoy the regimented nature of the role, repetitive/routine testing

· Strong attention to detail

· Prior military service would do well in this role
